Description
Vitamin D it is formed in the skin under the influence of sunlight. In our geographical area, this is possible from April to September at 10-15 hours at min. 15-minute daily exposure of at least the forearms and legs. However, if during these months there is no sun, we do not stay on it or use sunscreen (they can limit the production of vitamin D to 90%), low levels of vitamin D can already have a negative impact on the immune system in early autumn. For the rest of the year, vitamin D production in the skin is virtually nonexistent. Therefore, too little vitamin D is common in our climate.
The skin's ability to produce vitamin D also decreases with age, which can lead to a decrease in the absorption of calcium, which is important for bones and muscle function (vitamin D is involved in calcium absorption). Much more sun for the production of vitamin D in the skin is needed for people with a dark and dark complexion.
Low-quality foods and highly processed foods may not provide enough vitamin D. A, and with good nutrition, foods can usually only provide approx. 30% of the daily requirement for this vitamin. That is why its addition is so important.
Just one drop of Sun vitamin contains up to 800 IU of vitamin D3. This is the amount that provides an adequate level of this vitamin, even in people with a complete lack of its endogenous production.

Vitamin D Information
It is estimated that approx. 80-100% of the daily requirement for vitamin D3 it occurs as a result of biosynthesis in the skin and is only slightly supported by food sources. A diet based on low-quality or highly processed foods contains virtually no vitamin D.
Vitamin D is formed in the skin under the influence of sunlight (endogenous production). In our geographical area, this is possible from April to September at 10-15 hours at min. 15-minute daily exposure of at least the forearms and legs. The excess vitamin D produced in this way accumulates in adipose tissue and is released into the bloodstream within about two months. However, if we don't get enough sun during these months, don't stay in it, or use sunscreen (they can limit our vitamin D production to 90%), low vitamin D levels may not be enough to support our immune system as early as early fall. Skin with very dark skin produces vitamin D about six times slower due to the absorption of ultraviolet radiation by melanin. For the rest of the year, vitamin D production in the skin is virtually nonexistent. Therefore, in our climate, too little endogenous supply of vitamin D is common.
The skin's ability to produce vitamin D also decreases with age, which can lead to a lack of support for calcium absorption, which is important for bone and muscle function (vitamin D is involved in calcium absorption).
